Listener Request Friday...8 Years and Counting!

On December 4, 1998, KFSD launched what was to become a legendary and durable, locally produced program: KFSD Listener Request Friday, hosted by Gordon Brown. For over eight years, this program has continued to provide San Diego listeners with the selections they want to hear, virtually every Friday afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

Our faithful listeners have always had (and still have) the option of calling us at 760.729.1000, Ext. 180, to place their requests. They can also fax their requests to 760.931.8201. But now, there is another way for you to let us know your thoughts for Friday afternoons: through this very Web site! Just click on the button at right, or click here, to submit your requests! Please indicate whether you'd like us to read your name over the air (and as always, remember that from time to time our commercial obligations may necessitate airing excerpts from lengthier works).

But wait...there's more! Now you can look up what was aired on KFSD Listener Request Friday, as well as who performed it, because now we are archiving online every program log dating back to March 10, 2006! Just use the scrollable menu at right to select the date of the program you want to inquire about.

So what are you waiting for? It's a big, BIG world, musically speaking...just nail down the compositions you would most like to hear on Friday afternoon, and we'll do our level-best to accommodate you. Submit your requests today!
